Yes, I realize it has been well over two years since the one and only previous post on here, but with less than 48 hours left before I fly to Vietnam it seems an opportune moment to start. Who knows whether it will last this time, but I reckon this is one teaching adventure that requires a spot of blogging if only to save on emails/postcards/Facebook faffing...
A lot has happened since that last post of course - the Masters, Italy, the Delta, Bournemouth... not to mention an awful lot of pizza and coffee....
Whether or not this will turn out to be a teaching blog, a travelogue or another attack of the whimsical ramblings I inflicted on my email readership when I first went to Japan remains to be seen (I think I'll aim for a mixture of all three, if possible...)
Anyway, that's enough for now. Will let you know when/if this gets started. In the meantime I better get back to the packing...
